If you’re angry, hurt, sad, or whatever else…
Might as well use it to your advantage…
Cuz if you let it, it will find a way to use you to its advantage.
Harness what you’re going through positively rather than complaining about it.
Nuff said.
Have a great week.
P.S. - This newsletter only grows with your help. I don’t run ads or sell anything so all I ask is for you to share it with one person.

Projects
CNBC did an interview on Novel that dropped over the weekend so if you want to learn more about the business, check it out below:
Novel #3 (Trailer) - We moved the pickup date to this afternoon.
I’ll share some final progress pics starting next week and leading up to opening day.
We don’t have much to install but it will be a busy 2 weeks to get it all done before I head out of town.
The plan is to get this operational in mid to late July.
This will be affixed on the Axiom & Driftwood Coffee property in Peoria.
Novel #4 (Truck) - I get weekly progress pics and it’s awesome to see how quickly this is coming together:
I’ve put together the equipment and most of the supplies list so it’s just a matter of getting everything ordered.
When you’re growing like Novel is, it’s a huge strain on cash flow when you’re re-investing everything back into the business.
So keeping your eyes on every department of the business is more important than ever right now.
Here’s my power list (a mix of short and long-term projects):
Submit final plans to the city for Novel #3 (Trailer)
Finalize the buildout of Novel #3 (Trailer) and get it inspected
Order all equipment for Novel #4 (Truck)
Look into a new HQ or find a way to rework our existing HQ
We’re running out of room for Novels #3 and #4
First week is complete.
Things went much smoother than expected and our team was able to run the shop mostly on their own.
We did $526.53 in sales and spent much much more just on labor.
Hopefully we’re not operating at a loss for more than a month or so but that’s part of trying a new concept.
Here are some product pics we took last week:
If you made it out to the shop and liked what you ordered, we’d appreciate an honest review of your experience - you can leave one here.
My power list (a mix of short and long-term projects):
Batch a month’s worth of social content
Train the team through the first 2 weeks
I will be in the shops every day until I leave for MTL on June 8.
Identify ways to improve workflow in the shop
Ideate on late night hours and potential delivery structure for 8 PM - 4 AM
ACQUISITION #2
Nothing new this week.
Waiting for the broker on the Downtown Phoenix property to get back from Egypt.
VEER CONCEPTS
Spoke to a well-known bakery owner out of California who is looking for a 2nd retail + wholesale location.
The location in Peoria will be perfect for him.
He’s familiar with the city and sees the potential his concept has there.
No other updates this week but June will be a good time for me to get caught up on these projects so I can present a legitimate outline to the city.
COMMUNITY
The workout + social was so cool.
We had around 20 amazing people show out and put in some real work for an hour:
I host these private events at least once a month so keep an eye out for the next one like this.
Podcast
I had to reflect a bit after this one:
Music
Solid evening jam session:
And here’s the best Spotify playlist on the planet.
Health
I did my first Murph with 2 great friends yesterday:
Finished around 43 min…
Not sure if that’s good or bad but I’m happy about it.
Here’s proof:
No matter what you’ve achieved…
Gotta keep pushing yourself.
There’s no end to this.
