I’m back!
2 weeks off while in Montreal and I’m ready to get back to it.
The amount of food I ate and lack of sleep is only hitting me as I write this so bear with me.
On the flight home I realized how connected I feel to Montreal and when I leave I feel a piece of my soul is left behind.
If you’ve ever experienced this with a place you visit, it’s quite the feeling.
I visited family and we did everything from Formula 1 (that we never actually got to see) to relaxing on the lake in Southern Quebec.
One of my buddies also celebrated his bachelor party here… out of every place he could have chosen.
It’s been a hell of a month.
So from me to you, enjoy every moment.
Things move fast.

Projects
Novel #3 (Trailer) - It’s wrapped and ready to get stocked for opening.
We’re working with the city on final permitting requirements before we get our team in there but I suspect we’ll be good to go in the next 2 weeks.
Our new team will be training at our Phoenix shop and will move over to Peoria once we’re ready to open.
I’m optimistic about opening in July but we’ll see what comes up.
Novel #4 (Truck) - They’re getting closer to getting the shell finished before I send out equipment to be installed.
Here’s what it’s costing to get this truck up and running:
Truck alone: $28,677.98
Buildout: $58,000
Total: $86,677.98
Here’s my power list (a mix of short and long-term projects):
Submit final permitting docs to the City of Peoria for Novel #3 (Trailer)
Get Novel #3 (Trailer) inspected
Order inventory and product for Novel #3 (Trailer)
Reach out to property owners in Avondale for Novel #4 (Truck)
The truck would be stationary from Tuesday through Thursday and mobile from Friday through Sunday
Order all equipment for Novel #4 (Truck)
Visit new potential HQ in Peoria
It’s officially been 1 month since opening and we did $2,647.60 in net sales.
Numbers are very low but an increase is coming as I put more time into marketing and community engagement.
I’m stepping back into the shop for a few hours a week to save on labor costs and to improve the overall shop workflow.
Our team did an amazing job of holding down the fort.
I’m really happy to have them on board and I’m excited to see them grow in their roles as we get busier.
I’ll share the costs and process to get Remix open next week.
For now, here’s some cool pics of our stuff:
Here’s my power list (a mix of short and long-term projects):
Document and post more behind-the-scenes content
Work on website and Google My Business SEO
Update the final pickup and delivery system
We’re doing Wednesday and Saturday pickups for now but would like to get to once a week when we we’re clear on par counts.
VEER CONCEPTS
I mentioned last post that I’ve re-opened conversations with a multi-unit coffee company out of Texas.
That is still on my radar and I’ll review the financials and put together a one-pager for potential investors in the coming weeks/months.
I’m also still looking into the health + wellness center and bakery projects in Peoria.
My focus right now is on Novel and Remix but I don’t want to pass up on great opportunities when they present themselves.
If you’re interested in being a part of any of these or future projects, let me know.
COMMUNITY
It’s only been a month since I’ve hosted something and I’m already missing it.
I’m pumped to kick it back off in July… private dinner, mixer, and a virtual speed networking event.
And in the fall, things are going next level.
Stay tuned.

Health
After a complete binge this month…
I’m back to reality.
No more 3:30 am Lebanese food.
I’m dialed in for the rest of the year and will focus on improving my physique to maybe compete in either a Hyrox competition or a bodybuilding show.
Either one will require me to specifically lower my body fat %.
I’m sitting at a thick 195 so I need to shed 30 bs over the next few months.
I tend to feel my best around 165-170.
The quickest way to get there is by increasing my daily movement.
A simple mix of running and walking.
I’ll share progress next week.
