Novel Ice Cream
Permit approved on our 4th setup ✅
We're full speed ahead with private events for the Novel Truck right now, aiming to hit six figures in revenue in its first full year.
The final thing we needed to get our permit was to install a wall separating the cab from the service area… stupid, I know.
Someone needs to go in and shake up the permitting departments in this country. The process is a disaster.
We’re also expanding our wholesale partnerships around the Valley so if you find yourself in town, you can currently find us at:
And we’re working on a few more this month.
For now, I’m focused on:
Wrapping up our 2024 bookkeeping
Refinancing our existing debt (mainly SBA)
Ramping up content creation
Developing our core values and pre-shift rituals

We’re getting much much busier starting this week so it’s time to dial in.

We’re working with amazing people and companies at Coati right now.
Our newest team member just took on her first client, and she’s crushing it. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with this high level of a team, and being able to strategize at a high level again fires me up.
Honestly, I’m not sure solopreneurship is all it’s cracked up to be—building with a team is badass.
For context, if you didn’t read last week, Coati is essentially a Fractional COO - we act as your operations department. We’re quite literally the glue that holds your entire company together and gets everyone rowing the same boat.
I’ll share more about what we’re working on from a management perspective as we go.
