Hey hey,
I'm writing this after a solid few days in Texas to see a great friend and check out future Novel locations. I haven't been to Texas in close to 2 years… the growth in Dallas and Austin is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
I won’t be sending another post before Christmas so I wanted to say how grateful I am that you’ve taken the time to be a part of this community.
I hope that I’ve done something this year to impact your life positively. If not – my goal is to make that happen ASAP.
With that being said, don’t forget to forward this to a friend (if you’re into it).

Book
Dune by Frank Herbert
Weird recommendation but don’t count it out.
This is the first fiction book I’ve ever considered reading.
It’s a science fiction classic about a young guy who rises to lead a desert army in a battle for control of a planet's valuable spice.
Pretty wild stuff.
Podcast
Andy Friscella has a pretty surprising story.
He’s the owner of 1st Phorm, Supplement Superstores, and a handful of other businesses that he and his partner built from the ground up over 25 years ago.
His passion for business, fitness, leadership, and self-improvement will fire you up.
Check out his recent episode of Real AF.
Video
A visual breakdown of the book - The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel.
Lemme know what you think.
Health
So… another crazy idea last week.
I signed up for a half and a full marathon.
Half in January.
Full in February.
I’m tracking my runs and will report back as I get closer to the half on January 18th.
When I first got to the gym in 2021, I was aimless.
The only reason I was there was to look good at the pool (clearly didn’t work).
But once I began challenging myself with competitions, I felt re-energized to train.
Maybe that’s all you need to not dread exercising.
Maybe it’s time to step up and do something you’re scared to do.
Something you don’t think you can do…
Community Supporter
Daniel Cheetham is the Founder and Principal of Captains Club and has been an incredible supporter of this community. He and his team help business owners find the highest quality successor when the time is right.
I highly recommend scheduling a call with him to learn more about his process here.
