Novel Ice Cream - expanding to our 3rd retail spot in the next 90 days. Still ironing out some details for our mobile setup.

Ground up concept - pushing for a March 15th opening day. It’s going to be next door to Novel (the pink cottage in the photo above).

2nd Acquisition - decided to pass on the bar but we’re actively searching for another business to buy, together.

Tools of Titans by Tim Ferris is one of the best books I’ve ever read.

It’s a collection of all things health, wealth, and wisdom showing you how the top executives and athletes live their lives through habits, routines, and tactics.

Give this one a read.

I’m an avid listener of My First Million.

They share the most tactical business strategies and bring on some very unique guests with great stories to tell.

This particular episode gives you 11 ideas for how to get your first 100 customers.

Whether you’re starting or growing your business, this episode should help.

Video

I’m obsessed with self-improvement.

And I’ve gone down many rabbit holes over the years thinking this hack or this book is the solution I’m looking for.

But nothing trumps a simple routine and small habits.

You don’t need a $500 course on habit-building to build habits.

You just need to do the thing over and over and over again.

Also…

Ask yourself how you approach different moments in life.

You don’t need to get something out of every interaction, every person, or every idea.

It’s okay to just live sometimes.

Health

Training for my first full marathon.

It’s in Austin on February 18.

This is my average run every day:

My focus is on volume over speed right now.

After this first marathon, I’ll put together a plan for how I’ll improve my time but for now, I just want to finish.

When you’re training for any sort of endurance event, volume and Zone 2 training is your best friend.

I won’t go into specifics on this right now but here’s a video on endurance training.
